OPEN STUDIO
Open Studio is for those with clay experience. If you are new to clay, we ask you take some classes until you feel comfortable enough to create on your own.
All new members must read and agree to the user agreement, fill out an application and completed a studio tour before getting started. (Limited space is available)
The studio offers a large slab roller, several pottery wheels, tools, glazes and firing. Clay must be purchased from the studio. No outside material unless approved by instructor.
Open Studio is $12/hour or a discounted punch card can be purchased at the studio.

Kind Environment: The goal is to provide a relaxing & creative atmosphere. I will be mindful to refrain from loud, harsh, or negative conversation.

I understand open studio is for those with previous clay experience, competent in completing desired tasks on their own and does not include any instruction

Clean Environment: I will do my part by wiping down (with sponges) any equipment, tools, and tables I have used. This includes the floor where I have worked.

I Understand that projects from classes will take kiln space priority over Open Studio and Drop Off pieces

Purchasing clay: I will ask for assistance purchasing clay. I will not use outside clay/glazes without prior approval.

Reserving space: I will register online for the date/time I would like to attend the studio. Space is available on a first come basis and wheels cannot be reserved.

Firing Outside Items: If I create at home, I will only bring pottery to the studio for firing that is completely dry and ready to go into the kiln. I will reserve a drop off time online.

All my work will be marked with my maker’s mark and my supplies cleaned and put away.
