Service Description

This is a small 90min. session on the pottery wheel. Demonstration for beginners or supervision for those bettering their skills. I will be there to supervise & critique as you throw on the potter's wheel. This is a great session to try your hand at wheel throwing without committing to multiple sessions. If this is your first time throwing on the wheel, we will spend time learning the basics forming a bowl or small planter. You will have the opportunity to color your piece before you clean up. Pottery needs several days to dry & get fired 2x before it is ready to go home. Turn around time is usually 2-3 weeks. Remember Practice Makes Progress and this session will help. Very small class size (max 4ppl) so save your seat with early registration. Wear comfortable clothing, trim fingernails, and tie long hair back for safety. Missed classes: Contact the studio with at least a 24 hour notice, you may attend another class date, provided there is room available in that class.
